Bakalaura darbs „Sarunu šovu „Aina” un „Davida šovs” temu un dalibnieku
analize 2005. gada raidijumos” ir novatorisks petijums par popularako Latvijas
komercialajas televizijas veidoto sarunu šovu formatu un tematiskas strukturas
atbilstibu mediju petnieku definetajiem sarunu šovu formatiem informativi
izklaidejošo raidijumu kategorija, ka ari šajos šovos istenoto informativo un
izklaidejošo funkciju sabalansešanu, atbilstoši raidijuma veidotaju un šova formata
izvirzitajiem merkiem.
Petijuma gaita tika izvirzita hipoteze, ka Latvija popularakie komercialo
televiziju sarunu šovi „Davida šovs” un „Aina” pec to raidijumu formas un tematiskas
strukturas atbilst ASV mediju petnieku definetajiem sarunu šovu formatiem.
Apkopojot un analizejot empiriskaja darba dala iegutos datus un salidzinot tos
ar teoretiskaja dala apkopotajam mediju petnieku definetajam sarunu šovu ka
informativi izklaidejošo raidijumu kategorijas žanra pazimem, formatiem, veidošanas
principiem un informativi izklaidejošo funkciju istenošanu, darba autore ir izdarijusi
secinajumu, ka izvirzita hipoteze ir apstiprinajusies.
Bakalaura darbs „Sarunu šovu „Aina” un „Davida šovs” temu un dalibnieku
analize 2005. gada raidijumos” ir strukturets divas dalas. Teoretiskaja dala tiek
apkopotas mediju petnieku teoretiskas atzinas par popularo žurnalistiku un
informativi izklaidejošo raidijumu kategoriju ka tas paveidu; lai dzilak izprastu sarunu
šovu žanru, tiek skatita ari sarunu šovu vesturiska attistiba, kas balstita uz Bernarda
Timberga izdalitajiem cikliem, ka ari sarunu šovu veidošanas principi un formati
atbilstoši informativi izklaidejošo raidijumu kategorijai, un sarunu šovi ka informativs
raidijums un ka paterina prece, kura domine izklaidejošas vertibas.
Darba empiriskaja dala tiek veikts kvalitativs petijums, kurš balstits uz divam
kvalitativajam petniecibas metodem – kontentanalizi, kura apkopota un segmenteta
sarunu šovu „Aina” un „Davida šovs” 2005. gada temu un viena meneša dalibnieku
struktura, un kvalitativajam intervijam ar nozares ekspertiem – šo sarunu šovu
veidotajiem. The diploma work „ Analysis of the structure of themes and participants in the
broadcasts of the television talk shows „Aina” and „Davida show” in Year 2005.” is
an innovative research in the Latvian television talk show industry, which is new, but
fast growing and has already gained considerable popularity and attention in the
society and between media researchers.
The concern of this work was the analysis of the question, how the most
popular talk shows made in Latvian television industry corresponds with the
traditional talk show formats in the infotainment category, defined by the media
researchers; as well as the analysis of the thematic structure of the talk shows “Aina”
and “Davida show” to conclude, how they perform information and entertainment
functions of the television talk shows as the genre in infotainment category.
The diploma work is structured in two parts: the first part contains theoretical
information; the second part contains the analysis of empirical material.
The theoretical part contains theoretical knowledge about the popular
journalism as the basics of the entertaining media products, and the infotainment
category as the aspect of the popular journalism, which provides deeper insight in the
talk show industry as the infotainment genre. The theoretical part deepens
understanding about the industry of the talk shows, by providing information about
the historical development of the talk show industry in the USA, based on the
categorization of the Bernard Timberg, as well as providing information about the talk
show formats and production principles within the framework of fulfilling the
informational and entertaining functions.
The empirical part consists of the analysis of data, obtained in the process of
two qualitative research methods: the content analysis of the themes of the talk shows
“Aina” and “Davida show” broadcasted in Year 2005 and content analysis of the
participants in the shows broadcasted during a period of month (June, 2005 –
participants of “Davida show”; October, 2005 – participants of “Aina”) and
qualitative interviews with the experts of the field: the producers and editors of the
talk shows “Aina” and “Davida show”. Quotations from the interviews are provided
to get a deeper insight into the goals of the shows, the producing of the shows, and
measures used to combine the informative and entertainment functions.
