Trichoderma spp. aizsargefektivitāte pret H. annosum s.l. egles koksnes masas zudumiem bija 77 %. Iesakāms izstrādāt Trichoderma un P. gigantea kombinētos augu aizsardzības līdzekļus, jo tie nodrošinātu labāku koksnes aizsardzību – ātri augošās Trichoderma spp. neļautu trupes sēnēm kolonizēt virsmu, bet P. gigantea izkonkurētu patogēnus dziļākos koksnes slāņos.en_US
Heterobasidion annosum s.l. caused root rot is a destructive infection to conifers. For now it is limited by Phlebiopsis gigantea, but Trichoderma spp. also are strong antagonists. The aim was to evaluate Trichoderma spp., P. gigantea and their combination effect against H. annosum s.l. Fungal growth was studied on spruce and pine blocks. Stained spruce wood cuts were microscoped, chemical composition of wood and protective efficiency of Trichoderma against wood mass loses were determined. All antagonistic fungi suspensions and it combinations inhibited H. annosum s.l. growth on both conifer surfaces. Trichoderma spp. protective efficiency against H. annosum s.l. spruce mass loses was 77%. It is recommended to develop combined Trichoderma spp. and P. gigantea plant protection products because they will better protect the wood – fast growing Trichoderma would prevent rot fungi to colonize the surface and P. gigantea would displace pathogens into deeper layers of wood.en_US
