The goal of this thesis is by using high-resolution absorption spectrum of the star HD139409 and data from astronomical data centre (Strasbourg), locate the star HD139409 in Galactic and calculate total velocity of star, define fundamental parameters like absolute magnitude, luminosity, effective temperature and define more accurately evolutionary status of star.
Using the Dech20t spectrum analysis software, high-resolution absorption spectrum of HD139409 was analyzed. With this software radial velocity was measured and equivalent widths of spectral lines were calculated.
Using WIDTH6 software as well as atmospheric model and equivalent widths of spectral lines, the abundances of iron and titanium in the atmosphere of HD139409 was calculated. Result indicates medium deficiency of iron group metals relative to the Sun.
