Apgāda "Elpa" izdevējdarbība (no 1992. gada)

Abstract

Bakalaura darba „Apgāda „Elpa” izdevējdarbība no 1992.gada” mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā attīstījies izdevniecības darbs kopš tā dibināšanas, analizēt izdevējdarbības dinamiku, izpētīt, kādu autoru darbi tiek izdoti. Darba sākumā tiek izvirzīti šādi uzdevumi : apkopot informāciju par Latvijas grāmatniecības attīstību laika posmā no neatkarības atjaunošanas 1991.gadā, izpētīt apgāda izveides vēsturi un attīstību, apkopot informāciju par izdotajām grāmatām, analizēt apkopoto informāciju.

Bakalaura darba sākumā izvirzītā hipotēze – laika periodā no 1992.-2008. gadam apgāds „Elpa” pārsvarā pievērsies latviešu oriģinālliteratūras izdošanai un trimdas latviešu rakstnieku daiļrades atspoguļošanai, nevis tulkoto darbu izdošanai, kā arī izdevis vairākus izdevumus ar kultūrvēsturisku nozīmi – tiek pierādīta.

Darba teorētiskajā daļā sniegts ieskats Latvijas grāmatniecības attīstībā pēc neatkarības atjaunošanas, kad tiek dibinātas jaunas izdevniecības ne tikai Rīgā, bet visā Latvijā. Darba turpinājumā – empīriskajā daļā aprakstīta apgāda „Elpa” dibināšanas vēsture 1992.gadā, kad no vienīgā vides kultūras laikraksta Latvijā izveidojas apgāds ar identisku nosaukumu. Darba turpinājumā analizēta izdevējdarbības dinamika, kā arī apkopota informācija par izdotajām grāmatām un to autoriem.

Nobeigumā akcentēti galvenie darba izstrādes un pētījumu gaitā radušies secinājumi - savos 17 pastāvēšanas gados (1992-2008) apgāds „Elpa” ir izdevis 156 darbus, no tiem 74 daiļliteratūras oriģinālizdevumus un tikai 22 daiļliteratūras tulkojumus. Apgāds izdevis arī 74 dažāda satura izdevumus.

The objective of the bachelor’s paper „Publishing House „Elpa” (since 1992)” is to investigate how the publishing house has developed since it foundation in 1992, to analyze the dynamics of the publishing, to explore what are the authors literary works have been published. In the beginning of the paper, the following tasks were posed: aggregating information about the history of the book publishing since the restoration of independence in 1991; exploring the history and development of the publishing house „Elpa’, summarizing the information about the books published; analyzing the summarized information.

The hypothesis advanced at the beginning of the bachelor’s paper – in the time period from 1992 - 2008 the publishing house „Elpa” mostly predominanced turned to publishing Latvian original literature and Latvian exile writers creative work imaging and published books with multihistorical meaning – is proven.

In the theoritical part of the bachelor’s paper is offered an insight into the history of publishing, is explored the Latvian book publishing after the restoration of independence when new publishing houses were founded not only in Riga but also in other cities of Latvia. In the empirical part of the bachelor’s paper, is briefly looked at the history of the publishing house „Elpa” since 1992, when from the only environmental cultural newspaper in Latvia establishes a publishing house with at identical name. In the Continuation of the work the publishing dynamic is analyzed and information is summarized about the published books and writers.

In the final part, the main conclusions drawn during the development of the bachelor’s paper are accentuated : in time period of 17 years (1992-2008), the publishing house „Elpa” publishes 156 works and from them are published 73 fiction edition, 9 editions for children, 74 some content editions.
