Fotogrāfija kā XXIV Dziesmu un XIV Deju svētku socioloģiskās izpētes objekts

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Fotogrāfija kā XXIV Dziesmu un XIV Deju svētku socioloģiskās izpētes objekts”. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai un kādu socioloģisku informāciju iespējams iegūt, par semiotiskās analīzes objektu izvēloties XXIV Vispārējo latviešu Dziesmu un XIV Deju svētku fotogrāfijas. Bakalaura darba teorētiskajā daļā tika aplūkota fotogrāfijas sociālā vēsture un socioloģiskās teorijas, balstoties kurās iespējams fotogrāfijas interpretēt. Tās ir: A.Šica (A. SchŅtz) fenomenoloģiskā socioloģija, H.Garfinkela (H.Garfinkel) etnometodoloģija un Ē.Gofmana (E.Goffman) dramaturģiskā socioloģija, kā arī tika apskatītas fotogrāfijas izmantošanas iespējas socioloģisko pētījumu praksē. Bakalaura darba empīriskajā daļā tika veikta XXIV Dziesmu un XIV Deju svētku 1 437 fotogrāfiju semiotiskā analīze un interpretācija. Fotogrāfiju analīze tika veikta divos etapos. Pirmajā XXIV Dziesmu un XIV Deju svētku fotogrāfiju analīzes etapā tika veikts apkopojošs ieskats XXIV Dziesmu un XIV Deju svētku programmā iekļauto koncertu fotogrāfiju saturā, bet otrajā etapā veikta XXIV Dziesmu un XIV Deju svētku fotogrāfijās atklāto būtiskāko aspektu padziļināta analīze un izdarīti secinājumi. The theme of the bachelor thesis is „Photography as the social research object of the XXIV Nationwide Latvian Song and XIV Dance Celebration”. The aim of the thesis is to discover the sociological information that is possible to obtain from the photographs of the XXIV Nationwide Latvian Song and XIV Dance Celebration by performing semiotics analysis. The theoretical part of the thesis includes theory about social history of the photographs and various sociological theories that helps to analyse photographs. The latter includes A. SchŅtz’ sociology of phenomenology, H.Garfinkel’s ethnometodology and E.Goffman’s dramatic sociology. In addition, it includes overview of previous researches that used photographs as a source of sociological information. The analytical part of the thesis includes the semiotics findings and analysis of the 1 437 photographs from the XXIV Nationwide Latvian Song and XIV Dance Celebration. The analysis of the photographs was divided into two stages. Firstly, it includes overall view of the processes and events taking place in the XXIV Nationwide Latvian Song and XIV Dance Celebration. Secondly, it includes the deeper analysis of the findings gathered from photographs and conclusions were made at this stage.
