| dc.description.abstract | Mūsdienās ļoti daudz cilvēku pamet savas mājas, lai uzsāktu dzīvi jaunā valstī. Šiem cilvēkiem nākas saskarties ar daudzām jaunām lietām, kuras piemīt attiecīgajai valstij un tās kultūrai. Nereti ir grūti saprast atšķirības starp kultūrām, un ir grūti iejusties tajā.
Bakalaura darba mērķis: Noskaidrot kā latvieši, ilgstoši uzturēdamies ārzemēs, adaptējas jaunajā vidē un konstruē savu uzvedību

•Intervijas ar ārvalstīs bijušiem vai tur esošiem cilvēkiem
Darbs sastāv no 3 daļām. Pirmajā un otrajā daļā tiek apskatīta adaptācija jaunā semiotiskā (kultūra, tradīcijas, žesti, simboli) vidē, uzvedības konstruēšana, un to iespējamie vēsturiskie skaidrojumi. Trešajā darba nodaļā tiek analizēta informācija, kura iegūta no intervijām ar cilvēkiem, kuri dzīvoja vai dzīvo ārzemēs, balstoties uz socioloģiskajām teorijām.

| dc.description.abstract | Nowadays many people leave their homes to start a life in new country. These people have to face with many new things, which are typical to correspondent country and its culture. Sometimes it is hard to understand differences between cultures and it is hard to adapt in it.
The aim of the bachelor paper: To clarify, how Latvians adapt in new environment and construct their behavior, when they are staying abroad for a long time.
Methods of the bachelor paper:
Theoretical research method
•Analysis of the literature
Empirical research method
The work consists of three parts. The first and the second part show adaption in new semiotic (culture, traditions, gestures, symbols) environment, the construction of behavior and possible historical explanations. In the third part, there is analysis of information which is acquired from interviews with people, who live or had lived abroad. This information is tied with sociological theories.
