Abstract
Diplomdarba tēma ir „Cilvēku tirdzniecība kā sociāla problēma Latvijā”. Mērķis ir
noskaidrot vai cilvēku tirdzniecība Latvijā ir sociāla problēma. Darbs ir veidots integrējot
teoriju ar sociālo darbinieku viedokļiem, kā arī analizējot aptaujāto jauniešu viedokli par
cilvēku tirdzniecību kā sociālu problēmu Latvijā. Diplomdarbā tika apskatīts cilvēku
tirdzniecības raksturojums – formas un cēloņi, kā arī kritēriji, kuri nosaka, ka cilvēku
tirdzniecība ir sociāla problēma un noskaidrota cilvēku tirdzniecības problēmas situācija
Latvijā. Cilvēku tirdzniecības problēma ir komplicēta, tādēļ tiek apskatīti šķēršļi, kuri liedz
novērst šo sociālo problēmu. Latvijā cilvēku tirdzniecība kā problēma ir jauna, līdz ar to
autore pievērš uzmanību sociālās palīdzības iespējām cilvēku tirdzniecības upuriem.
Diplomdarba nobeigumā tiek analizēti aptaujas rezultāti ar jauniešiem par cilvēku
tirdzniecības problēmu Latvijā. Atslēgvārdi: Cilvēku tirdzniecība, sociāla problēma Latvijā, cilvēku pārdošana,

The title of this work is “Human trafficking as a social problem in Latvia”. The goal of the Diploma work is to clear up if people trafficking are a social problem in Latvia. The work is made by integrating theory and the opinion of social workers, as well as analyzing the view of young people about people trafficking as a social problem in Latvia. In the work are reviewed the characteristics of human trafficking, the forms and reasons as well as criteria’s, witch determine that human trafficking is a social problem in Latvia. Human trafficking is a complex problem, therefore are reviewed several obstacles that forbid to eliminate this problem. Human trafficking is a new problem in Latvia, that why the author focus the attention on the help possibilities for victims of human trafficking. In the end of the work are analyzed the results of the poll’s with young people about the problem of trafficking trading in Latvia.
