Pusaudžu pašcieņas, identitātes stila un akadēmisko sasniegumu saistības

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis noskaidrot pusaudžu pašcieņas, identitātes stila un akadēmisko sasniegumu saistības. Tika izvirzītas hipotēzes: 1.Jo augstāka ir pašcieņa, jo augstāka ir informatīvi orientētā identitāte un zemāks difūzais identitātes veidošanās stils. 2.Jo augstāki ir akadēmiskie sasniegumi jo zemāks ir difūzais identitātes veidošanās stils. Paralēli tika izvirzīts pētījuma jautājums, vai pastāv saistības starp pašcieņu, identitātes stiliem un akadēmiskajiem sasniegumiem zēnu un meiteņu izlasē. Pētījumā piedalījās 60 pusaudži, vecumā no 15 līdz 18 gadiem. Vidējais respondentu vecums 16,3 gadi. Pētījumā tika izmantotas trīs pētījuma instrumenti. Lai uzzinātu, kāda ir pašcieņa, tika izmantota Rozenberga pašcieņas aptauja (Rosenberg Self – Esteem Scale, Rosenberg, 1965). Un, lai noskaidrotu identitātes veidošanās stilu, tika izmantota Identitātes stilu aptauja (Identity Style Inventory, Berzonsky, 1992). Lai noskaidrotu akadēmiskos sasniegumus, tika ņemtas vērā vidēji svērtās atzīmes latviešu valodā un matemātikā, kas norāda akadēmiskos sasniegumus. Pētījuma rezultātā pirmā hipotēze - jo augstāka ir pašcieņa, jo augstāka ir informatīvi orientētā identitāte un zemāks difūzais identitātes veidošanās stils – daļēji apstiprinās, otra hipotēze - jo augstāki ir akadēmiskie sasniegumi jo zemāks ir difūzais identitātes veidošanās stils – apstiprinās. Un tika iegūta atbilde uz pētījuma jautājumu, ka zēnu izlasē nepastāv statistiski nozīmīgas saistības, turpretī meiteņu izlasē pastāv statistiski nozīmīgas saistības pašcieņai un visiem identitātes stiliem, izņemot difūzo identitātes stilu, un akadēmiskajiem sasniegumiem ar difūzo, sevī noslēgto identitāti un normatīvi orientēto identitātes veidošanās stilu.

Aim of the research thesis was find out adolescents self – esteem, identity style and academic achievement connection. Were hypotheses: 1. If self – esteem is higher then informative identity style is higher too and diffuse identity style is lower; 2. If academic achievement are higher then diffuse identity style is lower. In parallel was raised the question, what are connection between self – esteem, identity styls and academic achievement boy and girls selection. The study included 60 adolescents, aged 15 to 18 years. The average ages 16, 3. In this study was used in three methods: One of these methods is average mark in Latvian and mathematic, which can show academic achievement. Rosenberg Self – Esteem Scale (Rosenberg, 1965) and Identity Style Inventory (Berzonsky, 1992). The study aim is achieved. First hypothesis - The higher self-esteem, the higher the informative-oriented identity and lower diffuse identity formation style - partially confirms, the second hypothesis - the higher the academic performance the lower the diffuse identity formation style - approve. And the answer was obtained to study the issue, that of boys sample, there is no statistically significant relationships, while the girls sample there are statistically significant relationships between self – esteem and all identity styles, except diffuse identity formation style, and academic achievement and diffuse identity formation style and normative formation identity style. .
