Līvānu novada Centrālās bibliotēkas novadpētniecības darba virzieni

Abstract

Mūsdienu bibliotēka vairs nav tikai informācijas centrs, bet tā pilda arī kultūras un sociālo aktivitāšu centra funkcijas. Novadpētniecība, kā bibliotēku darba virziens, mūsdienās kļūst arvien populārāks, jo tas ne tikai saliedē vietējo kopienu un rada piederības sajūtu kādai noteiktai vietai, bet arī saglabā, popularizē un padara pieejamu vēsturisko materiālu. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, kādi ir novadpētniecības darba virzieni Līvānu novada Centrālajā bibliotēkā. Pētījumā izmantoti tiek Līvānu novada Centrālās bibliotēkas ikgadējie pārskati no 2010. – 2014. gadam. Lai iegūtu padziļinātāku viedokli par novadpētniecības darbu ir veiktas arī intervijas, kuras atklāj novadpētniecības, kā bibliotēkas darba virziena, nozīmību, kā arī atklāj nākotnes ieceres.

Contemporary library is not only an information centre but it also fulfils functions of cultural and social activities centre. Local history as a work direction of libraries becomes more and more popular nowadays because it not only unites the local community and creates a feeling of affiliation to some certain place but also preserves, popularizes and makes accessible the historical data. The aim of the research is to find out what kind of work directions of the local history there are in the Central Library of Livani District. Annual reports of the Central Library of Livani District from 2010 till 2014 are used in the research. In order to get deeper opinion about the work of local history, interviews are made which reveal the importance of local history as a work direction of the library and also future intentions in regard to local history.
