Markvarts J. “Statiskās zondēšanas metodes metodes izmantošana organogēno un smilšaino grunšu īpašību noteikšanā”. Bakalaura darbs.
Markvarts J. “Cone penetration test as method for determination properties of organic and sandy soils”. Bachelor paper. Riga, University of Latvia, faculty of Geography and Earth Sciences, 2015.
The aim of the bachelor paper is to research and to determine corelation between organogenic and sandy soils physichal and mechanical properties in order with cone penetration (CPT) method and correlate results with physichal and mechanichal properties of soils, that was determined in laboratory analysis. There have been done the cone penetration tests and the drilling works in Riga, Pulkveža Brieža street 35 performing the bachelor paper. During the geological drilling works soil samples of disturbed and undisturbed structure were taken and later the laboratory tests was done to determine soils content, physichal and mechanical properties including determination of organic content, grading composition, compression and shear strenght tests. After the field works and laboratory tests correlative comparison was done between soils content, physichal properties, strenght parameters and deformation properties. The Certain regularities was carried out and the results were compared with previous geotechnical research results in area and also with existing geotechnical research standards.
