Vidzemes jauniešu ģeogrāfiskā mobilitāte: virzieni un atgriešanās iespējas

Abstract

Maģistra darbā „ Vidzemes jauniešu mobilitāte: virzieni un atgriešanās iespējas” tiek veikta mobilitātes izpēte Smiltenes, Limbažu un Alūksnes novados, noskaidrojot jauniešu migrācijas virzienus, motīvus, atgriešanās iespējas, vēlmi uzsākt uzņēmējdarbību un iespējamo nākotnes plānu sasaistīšanu ar dzimto novadu. Autore maģistra darba ietvaros galvenokārt aplūko ģeogrāfiskās mobilitātes procesus izvēlētajos novados. Maģistra darba izstrādes gaitā ir aplūkoti jau iepriekš veikti pētījumi par jauniešiem, migrāciju, dzīves cikliem un izdarīti secinājumi salīdzinot ar šajā pētījumā iegūtajiem datiem. Smiltenes, Limbažu un Alūksnes novadu dati tika iegūti veicot jauniešu aptauju vecuma grupā no 18 – 35 gadiem, kam šie novadi ir dzimtie. Iedzīvotāju mobilitāte atšķiras pēc to vecuma posmiem, iegūtās izglītības un dzimto novadu attāluma no galvenās jauniešu migrācijas vietas, valsts galvaspilsētas Rīgas. Lielākajai daļai aptaujāto respondentu patstāvīgā dzīvesvieta šobrīd ir Rīga, kam par iemeslu ir labākas darba iespējas un augstākās izglītības iegūšana. Dzimtā novada attālums no Rīgas ietekmē novada apmeklējuma biežumu. Vidēji 65 % respondentu nesaredz sev izaugsmes iespējas dzimtajā novadā, un nav plānojuši tur atgriezties tuvākajos 5 gados, tomēr vecumdienas labprāt pavadītu dzimtajā novadā. Maģistra darbs sastāv no ievada, anotācijas latviešu un angļu valodā, 5 nodaļām un apakšnodaļām, secinājumiem, literatūras saraksta un pielikumiem. Pētījumā iegūtie dati attēloti ar 33 autores veidotiem grafikiem un 5 kartogrāfiskiem attēliem.

Master thesis "Geographical mobility of youth in Vidzeme: routs and return possibilities” is performed mobility research in Smiltenes, Limbazu and Aluksne counties identifying youth migration trends, themes, return, desire to start a business and possible future plans linking to native county. The author mainly deals with geographical mobility processes in selected regions. Master thesis includes the previously conducted studies on youth, migration, life cycles and made conclusions relative to this study findings. Smiltene, Limbazu and Aluksne district data were obtained through a survey of young people in the age group of 18-35 years, which is native to these regions. Population mobility differ in their stages of age, educational attainment, and native county distance from the main places of migration of young people, the state capital of Riga. The majority of respondents are permanent residents of Riga now, which is due to better job opportunities and to an opportunity to study in university. The frequency of respondent’s visit to their native country depends on the distance from Riga to their county. Average 65% of respondents do not see their opportunities to grow in their native region, and are not planning to return there for next 5 years, but would be happy to move there after retirement. Master's thesis consists of an introduction, annotations in Latvian and English, 5 chapters with sub-chapters, conclusions, bibliography and appendices. The study findings are presented with 33 authors designed graphs and 5 cartographic images.
