Abstract
Maģistra darbā “Glaciolimniskie nogulumi Lielauces – Zebrenes glaciodepresijā” raksturota Lielauces – Zebrenes glaciodepresijā sastopamo glaciolimnisko nogulumu daudzveidība un to saguluma apstākļi, kā arī sniegta šo nogulumu veidošanās apstākļu interpretācija. Pētījumā izmantotās metodes ietver lauka apsekojumus, ģeoloģisko urbšanu un nogulumu atsegumu fotodokumentēšanu. Savukārt laboratorijā veiktas nogulumu granulometriskā sastāva analīzes. Maģistra darba ietvaros analizēts arī virsmas reljefs glaciolimnisko nogulumu izplatības apvidū, kas ļauj izdarīt secinājumus par nogulumu veidošanās apstākļiem.
Master thesis “Glaciolacustrine deposits in the Lielauce - Zebrene glacial depression” describes the diversity and bedding conditions of Lielauce - Zebrene glacial depression’s glaciolacustrine deposits. It is supplemented by the interpretation of these deposits’ formation circumstances. Research methods include field inspection, geological drilling and photographic documentation of deposits’ outcrops. In addition, analysis of the deposits’ granulometric composition has been performed in laboratory. Furthermore, the conformation of glaciolacustrine deposits’ distribution surface area is analysed, enabling to make conclusions about the circumstances of deposits’ formation.
