Mutvārdu tulkošanas aspekti reliģiskos pasākumos

Abstract

Maģistra darbs „Mutvārdu tulkošanas aspekti reliģiskos pasākumos" ir izstrādāts profesionālās maģistra studiju programmas „Konferenču tulkošana” ietvaros. Maģistra darba mērķis ir noteikt un analizēt mutvārdu tulkošanai raksturīgos aspektus reliģiskos pasākumos. Tēma nav plaši iztirzāta profesijas akadēmiskajā jomā. Darbā izmantotās pētniecības metodes ietver teorētisko materiālu un literatūras analīzi, aptaujas un intervijas, to rezultātu analīzi, teorijai atbilstošu un to pamatojošu piemēru sniegšanu. Maģistra darbā ir 4 nodaļas, iekļauti 3 attēli un 2pielikumi. Pirmajā nodaļā raksturotas evaņģēliskās un vasarsvētku draudzes Latvijā. Otrajā nodaļā piedāvāts apskats par tulkošanu reliģisko pasākumu kontekstā. Trešajā un ceturtajā nodaļā analizēti specifiskie reliģisko pasākumu secīgās un sinhronās tulkošanas aspekti. Darba noslēgumā apkopoti secinājumi par situāciju reliģisko pasākumu tulkošanas jomā un sniegti ierosinājumi turpmāko pētījumu veikšanai.

The master thesis “Aspects of Interpreting in Religious Settings’ has been prepared within the framework of the professional master studies programme “Conference interpreting”. The theme of the thesis has been chosen considering the gap between professional interpreting and church interpreting. The aim of the thesis is to identify and analyze factors affecting interpreting in religious settings. The methods used to develop the thesis include analysis of theoretical background, conducting a survey and interviews, providing examples which support the theory. The thesis consists of 4 chapters and contains 3 figures and 2 appendices. The first chapter describes evangelical and Pentecostal churches in Latvia. The second chapter offers insight into interpreting in religious settings. The third and the fourth chapter analyze specific consecutive / simultaneous interpreting aspects in religious settings. The paper concludes with summary about specific aspects of interpreting in religious settings and gives recommendations about the further research.
