Animācijas kā realitātes reprezentācijas epistemoloģiskais potenciāls dokumentālajā kino: dokumentālo filmu "Uz spēles Latvija", "Čiža acīm" un "4. maija republika" analīze

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis ir apzināt animācijas kā realitātes reprezentācijas epistemoloģisko potenciālu dokumentālajā kino. Iepazīstoties ar jaunāko literatūru par animācijas dokumentālo kino, izpētīt, kā animācija papildina dokumentālo kino realitātes reprezentācijā. Kādas jaunas nozīmes animācija kā mākslīga reprezentācija rada mehāniski ierakstītam attēlam un skaņai. Skaidrot, kādas ir animācijas un dokumentālā kino žanru attiecības. Kas tiem ir kopīgs un kas – atšķirīgs. Atklāt, vai un kā mainās izpratne par reālismu kā noteicošo stilistiku realitātes reprezentācijā kino. Kā paplašinās dokumentālā kino žanrs, un kādi jauni izaicinājumi šodien ir animācijas kino. Darba ietvaros prezentēti raksturīgākie veidi, kā animācija komentē vēsturisko realitāti analizētajās Latvijas dokumentālajās filmās.

The aim of the thesis was to identify epistemological potential of an animation as reality representation in documentary cinema. To study the current literature on animated documentary and to investigate the ways, how an animation enriches a representation of reality in a documentary film. What kind of new meanings animation as an artificial system of representation adds to the mechanically recorded sound and picture. To explain, what are the relationships of the animation and documentary genres. What is common and diverse to both genres. To show, if and how changes the perception of realism as a dominant style in representation of reality in cinema. How the documentary genre expands and what kind of new challenges animation has today. Presented are also the most typical ways, how animation comment historical reality in analysed documentary films of Latvia.
