Liepājnieka identitātes reprezentācija laikrakstā "Komunists" 1988.gadā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir noskaidrot liepājnieka identitātes reprezentāciju laikrakstā „Komunists” 1988.gadā. Teorijas daļā apskatītas reprezentācijas, identitātes un ideoloģijas teorētiskās izpratnes. Konteksta daļā aplūkots 1988.gada konteksts –Latvijas Tautas frontes izveidošanās, mediju vide 1988.gadā un sniegts laikraksta „Komunists” raksturojums. Pētījuma veikšanai izmantota kvantitatīvā kontentanalīze un diskursa vēsturiskā analīze. Rezultāti liecina, ka laikraksts „Komunists” 1988.gadā reprezentē pretrunīgu liepājnieka identitāti – LPSR pilsoņa un tajā pašā laikā Atmodas atbalstītāja. Avīze Liepājas iedzīvotāju reprezentē pozitīvā un negatīvā identitātes diskursa ietvaros.

The aim of the paper is to find out how the identity of Liepaja’s resident was represented in the newspaper „Komunists” in 1988. The theory of representation, identity, ideology has been explained in the theoretical part of the paper. For a better understanding of the context, there has been given a information aobut year 1988–Popular front of Latvia, media environment and information about newspaper „Komunists”. The quantitative content analysis and historical discourse analysis has been used in order to conduct the research. The results show that newspaper „Komunists” during the year 1988 represents Liepaja’s resident as LPSR citizen who lives after the soviet laws and in the same time supports Awakening ideas.
