Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „Neatkarības kari Spāņu Dienvidamerikā no 1809. līdz 1824. gadam: vērtējums historiogrāfijā” autors ir atspoguļojis neatkarības karu norisi Spānijas Dienvidamerikā. Darbs balstīts virkni vēsturnieku darbu, aprakstot un salīdzinot militāros un politiskos konfliktus starp jaundibinātajām valstīm un Spāniju šajā reģionā laikā no 1809. līdz 1824. gadam, kā arī atklājot problemātiskus jautājumus tā laika notikumu interpretācijā. Darbā raksturots neatkarības karu process un ar to saistītie politiskie notikumi, kas noteica neatkarības atbalstītāju uzvaru pār Spāniju.

In his Bachelor thesis Independence wars in Spanish South America between 1809 and 1824: views in historiography the author has reflected process of independence wars in Spanish America. It is based on different historian scientific works describing and comparing military and political conficts in this region between newborn states and Spain in the period between 1809 and 1824, also detecting conflicting aspects of interpretations of those events. The author has characterized process of independence wars and with that connected political events that decided independence supporters win over Spain.
