Sociālā tīkla „Facebook” uzdevumi mājasdarbu izpildes sekmēšanai angļu valodas stundās 7. klasē

Abstract

Diplomdarba autores pieredze liecina, ka ļoti bieži daudzi skolēni neizpilda mājasdarbus, aizmirst tos izpildīt, vai arī skolotājam ir nepieciešams atgādināt, lai mājasdarbs tiktu veikts. Iekļaujot mācību procesā uz internetu balstītas aktivitātes skolēniem, kuri ir digitālās paaudzes pārstāvji, var būt motivējoša metodoloģijas sastāvdaļa. Darba mērķis ir atklāt, kā sociālā tīkla Facebook uzdevumi var palīdzēt veicināt mājasdarbu izpildi 7. klasē. Izvēlētā pētījuma metode ir atsevišķa gadījuma pētījums Rīgas Valsts 3.ģimnāzijā. Datu vākšanas metodes bija 2 anketas 7. klases skolēniem, skolotājas pieraksti ar mājasdarbu nodošanas laiku un biežumu, atgriezeniskās saites veidlapas un intervijas ar 3 skolā strādājošām skolotājām. Tika novadīti 7 mājasdarbi Facebook vietnē. Tika pierādīts, ka sociālā tīkla Facebook uzdevumu izmantošana palielina mājasdarbu izpildi 7. klasē. Balstoties uz savāktajiem datiem par sociālā tīkla Facebook uzdevumiem kā metodi mājasdarbu izpildes veicināšanai, diplomdarbs var tikt izmantots kā ieskats tiem skolotājiem, kuri iepriekš nav izmantojuši sociālā tīkla Facebook uzdevumus, rūpīgi apsverot skolēnu mājasdarbu labošanas procesu sociālajos tīklos.

The author of the Diploma Paper has experienced that many students either do not do their homework very often, or they forget to do it or teachers have to make reminders in order to urge them to do homework. Incorporating Internet based homework activities in the learning process for students who are digital natives could be motivating methodology component. The aim of the Paper is to explore how Facebook based activities can help to increase homework completion in English lessons in Form 7. The chosen method of the research is a case study in Riga State Gymnasium No.3. Two questionnaires for the learners of Form 7, teacher’s notes with entries for monitoring frequency and timing of homework completion, students’ feedback forms and interviews with 3 in-service teachers were chosen as data collection methods. There were 7 Facebook based homework activities conducted. It was proved that the use of Facebook based activities increased homework completion in Form 7. Based on the data gathered about Facebook based activities as a method for increasing homework completion, the Diploma Paper can be used as an insight for teachers who have not used Facebook based activities, carefully considering the process of correcting learners’ homework in social network.
