| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darba ietvaros aprakstīti meža ugunsgrēku veidi, to izcelšanas cēloņi un sekas. Aprakstīti meža ugunsgrēku novēršanas un ierobežošanas pasākumi, kā arī to novērošanas un prognozēšanas metodes. Aprakstītas pasaulē, Eiropā un Latvijā izmantotās ugunsbīstamības prognozēšanas metodes. Darbā ir aprakstīta meteoroloģisko apstākļu ietekme uz meža ugunsgrēku norisi un izplatību.
Darbā apkopoti dati par meža ugunsgrēku gadījumiem, un raksturota meža ugunsgrēku situācija Latvijā. Apkopoti dati par meteoroloģisko apstākļu ietekmi uz meža ugunsgrēku izplatību pētamajās valsts teritorijās.
Izdarīti secinajumi par meža ugunsgrēku izcelšanās cēloņiem, to sezonalitāti un izmaiņu tenedencēm, noskaidrota laika apstākļu ietekme uz meža ugunsgrēku izplatību.
Darbs sastāv no piecām nodaļām un apakšnodaļām, tā kopējais apjoms ir 90 lappuses. Darbā ietvertas 16 tabulas, 4 attēli un 23 grāfiskie pielikumi, izmantoti 42 literatūras avoti un dati no 4 elektroniskām datu bazēm.

| dc.description.abstract | The Bachelor thesis describes types of forest fires, their causes and consequences. Measures of prevention, control and prediction of forest fires are described. Methods used in assessment of forest fire hazards in the world, in Europe and in Latvia are described. The thesis describes the influence of meteorological conditions on the incidence and spreading of forest fires.
The work summarizes the data on forest fires in Latvia. Data on the influence of meteorological conditions on the incidence and spreading of forest fires are studied. Conclusions on the causes of forest fires, their seasonality and trends, as well as effects of weather conditions on fire incidence were made.
The work consists of five chapters and sub-chapters, the total number of pages is 90. Work includes 16 tables, 23 figures and 4 graphical attachments, references include 42 literature sources and data from four electronic databases.
