The objective of the presented research is a study of the Anglicisms in contemporary French and contemporary peninsular Spanish, aimed verify the validity of the formulated hypothesis: English language influences Spanish and French in the same way and with the same force. To accomplish the above mentioned study, first of all is necessary to make vocabulary analysis of the tabloid magazines written in both languages. Second step is making a comparative analysis of the found French and Spanish Anglicisms.
As a result of the comparative analysis of the Anglicisms, the hypothesis has been refuted, as the French and Spanish Anglicisms found in the analyzed tabloid magazines differ in many aspects.
