Abstract
HAMAS ir viena no divām iespaidīgākajām un daudzskaitlīgākajām Palestīnas atbrīvošanas kustībām. Šī darba uzdevums bija noskaidrot, izpētot tipisku HAMAS kustības dalībnieku biogrāfijas, kādi ir motīvi šo dalībnieku cīņai, kādi ļaudis kļūst par teroristiem-pašnāvniekiem un kāds idejiskais fons, kura ēnā notiek HAMAS cīņa pret Izraēlas valsti.
BA Thesis is dealing with the Palestinian liberation organization HAMAS. The object of the research is the biographic data of a number of fighters-terrorists, political leaders of the organisation as well as traitors and spies. The biographies of these people reveals the motives, ideology, as well as economic motives of the participants of the HAMAS organization. The thesis of this paper is that true motives – religion, bad economic condition and the absence of the political settlement in Palestine is creating the organisation HAMAS and fuelling its machinery.
