Sievietes sociālās lomas 20. gs. 30. gados J. Veseļa, J. Jaunsudrabiņa un A. Upīša romānos

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs ir pētījums par sievietes sociālajām lomām 20. gs. 30. gados J. Veseļa, J. Jaunsudrabiņa un A. Upīša romānos. Darbam ir trīs nodaļas ar apakšnodaļām. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt sieviešu sociālo lomu dažādību un to konstruēšanu latviešu trīsdesmito gadu romānos laikmeta, dzimtes un feminisma ideju kontekstā. Darba gaitā izpētīts, ka sievietes sociālās lomas romānos visbiežāk konstruē vīrieši, paužot tādus uzstādījumus un uzskatus, lai sievieti pakļautu vīrieša varas dominancei un viņas lomu uzdevums būtu vīrieša ērtību apmierināšana, tādējādi romāni atzīstami par patriarhālās sociālās realitātes atspoguļotājiem. Romānos uzskatus par sievieti un uzstādījumus tās sociālajām lomām veido dzimumu izpratne kā noteicošā kategorija cilvēka uzvedībai, būtībai un vērtībai.

Bachelor thesis study women’s social roles in the 1930’s in novels of J. Veselis, J. Jaunsudrabiņš and A. Upīts. Thesis consists of three chapters with subchapters. Goal of the thesis is to explore the diversity of social roles of women’s and its design in Latvian novels of the thirties in the context of age, gender and idea of feminism. Thesis conclude that women’s social roles are mostly designed by men who express views and settings to subject women to men power dominance and task of women’s roles would be satisfaction of men comfort, thus novels are recognized as reflections of patriarchal social reality. In novels the views about the woman and settings to her social roles are constituted by comprehension of the sex as key category of human behaviour, nature and value.
