Velosatiksmes infrastruktūra un attīstība Rīgā

Abstract

Autora Maģistra darba pētāmais objekts ir velosatiksmes infrastruktūra un attīstība Rīgas vēsturiskajā centrā. Straujā velosipēdu izmantošana Rīgas pilsētā izceļ pilsētas infrastruktūras nepilnības, neapmierinot gan dažādo transporta līdzekļu, gan gājēju vajadzības un vēlmes. Lai attiecīgās problēmas tiktu risinātas, ir jāattīsta pilsētas infrastruktūra un jāveicina integrācijas process starp iesaistītajām pusēm, uzlabojot kopēju satiksmes organizāciju no infrastruktūras attīstīšanas, kā arī no satiksmes drošības viedokļa. Maģistra darba ietvaros, izvērtējot pilsētas sarežģīto transporta infrastruktūru, tika izstrādāti priekšlikumi integrētas velosatiksmes attīstībai. Maģistra darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā un sastāv no 92 lapaspusēm, kā arī 3 pielikumiem.

The main objective for my Master’s degree is to explore the vehicular transportation infrastructure and development in Riga. With cycling, gaining more popularity in the city, it fails to satisfy the various means of transport and pedestrian needs and desires. The main issues are to develop the infrastructure and to promote the process of integration between the parties involved, through a common traffic organization of infrastructure development, as well as from the point of view of road safety. Within the framework of the city's complex the transport infrastructure, as well as the interests of the parties concerned, the proposals were developed as integrated vehicular development. Master's work is written in Latvian and consists of 92 pages and 3 attachments.
