Scrum metodes izmantošana IT projektu izstrādē

Abstract

Darba mērķis ir izpētīt dažādas programmatūras izstrādes metodes, īpašu uzmanību veltot Scrum programmatūras izstrādes metodei, kura pēdējos gados ir viena no populārākajām. Darba ietvaros ir apkopota informācija par populārākajām spējās izstrādes metodēm un ūdenskrituma metodi, kā arī veikta telekomunikāciju uzņēmuma 3 projektu izpēte, kuri veidoti, katrs izmantojot savu metodi, pēc dažādiem kritērijiem - gan vispārīgiem, gan skaitliskiem. Rezultātā ir izveidotas vadlīnijas, pēc kurām noteikt, kura metode katram projekta ir piemērotākā.

The aim of the thesis is to explore a variety of software development methods, focusing on Scrum method, which has gained notable popularity during recent years. Information has been gathered within the thesis about the most well-known Agile methods, as well as the waterfall method. Furthermore, exploratory research has been conducted on a telecommunications company's 3 projects, each developed using a different method and taking into account various criteria – both general and numerical. As a result, guidelines have been createdin order to help determine the most appropriate method for each project.
