Bēgļu problēma Latvijā un Igaunijā – rīcībpolitika, attieksme, reakcija

Abstract

Maģistra darbs “Bēgļu problēma Latvijā un Igaunijā – rīcībpolitika, attieksme un reakcija” pieskaras visai aktuālai tēmai mūsdienu Eiropas dzīvē – bēgļu krīzei un tās izraisītai reakcijai divās Baltijas valstīs – Igaunijā un Latvijā. Šajā darbā īpaša uzmanība ir veltīta jēdzienu “bēgļi” un “migranti” diskursam gan Latvijas un Igaunijas valstu vēsturē, gan karam Sīrijā un šo divu valstu valdību attieksmei pret ES krīzes jautājuma risināšanu. Taču, pati svarīgākā pētījumu daļa ir veltīta Latvijas un Igaunijas iedzīvotāju attieksmes analīzei jautājumam par bēgļu uzņemšanu. Tika aptaujāti 1028 Latvijas un 1010 Igaunijas iedzīvotāji. Aptauja tika sagatavota un izplatīta virtuāli laikā no 2015. gada decembra līdz 2016. gada aprīlim. Šie dati ir svarīga maģistra darba pētījuma daļa. This master thesis with the title “The Refugee Topic in Latvia and Estonia – Policy, Attitude and Reaction” is about the current refugee crisis in Europe and the reactions of the two Baltic States Latvia and Estonia towards it. In this thesis, special focus is on the discourse of the terms ”refugees” and ”migrants”, on the history of Latvia and Estonia, on the war in Syria and on the attitudes of the governments of Estonia and Latvia in the EU solving process of this crisis. However, the most important part is the research of the attitude of people in Estonia and Latvia towards the admission of refugees to their coutnry. In this context 1028 people from latvia and 1010 people from Estonia have responded to an online questionnaire which was established by the author of this thesis and distributed in the timeframe of December 2015- April 2016.
