The aim of this work is to study the intensity of the fluorescence and diffusion reflection from artery with a ICG/chitosan patch with and without the laser treatment. The medical operation on the artery is a complex process due to the small diameter of a vessel, therefore it is not so easy to connect two ends of artery. For this purpose a medical patch was developed (chitosan/ICG), which adheses to the outer surface of the artery after the irradiation with 810nm laser. Choosing the optimal dose of the laser is crucial for successfull operation. Were studied autofluorescence and ICG fluorescence spectra in near infra-red part of the spectrum and diffusion reflection of patch was observed. By alysing autofluorescence images of the samples one can easily observe the laser irradiated spots.
