Brāļu draudzes kā reliģiskas un sabiedriskas kustības pedagoģiskais mantojums Vidzemē 18.gadsimtā

Abstract

I. Strautiņas promocijas darba „Brāļu draudzes kā reliģiskas un sabiedriskas kustības pedagoģiskais mantojums Vidzemē 18. gadsimtā” mērķis ir izpētīt brāļu draudzes pedagoģisko mantojumu un atklāt tā nozīmi izglītības, audzināšanas un pedagoģiskās domas attīstībā Latvijā. Lai sasniegtu mērķi, izvirzīti šādi uzdevum i: analizēt brāļu draudzes kustības veidošanās priekšvēsturi Vidzemē; izpētīt brāļu draudzes ieguldījumu skolotāju sagatavošanā, audzināšanā, izglītībā un pedagoģiskajā domā Eiropas kontekstā; analizēt brāļu draudzes literārā mantojuma pedagoģiskos aspektu s un atklāt brāļu draudzes pedagoģiskās darbības nozīmi latviešu tautas pašapziņas veicināšanā. Pētījums veikts pedagoģijas vēsturē, analizējot brāļu draudzes pedagoģisko mantojumu: mijiedarbību starp izglītību un audzināšanu, analizējot audzināšanas un mā cīšanas teorijas, kā arī uzsverot personības attīstības teorijas un to ietekmējošos faktorus; idejas m ā cīšanas, audzināšanas un personības attīstībā, kā arī šo ideju īstenošanu praksē. Pētījums veikts, analizējot avotus un literatūru un hermeneitiski inte rpretējot vēsturiskos avotus. Atslēgvārdi: brāļu draudze, piētisms, pedagoģija, reliģija, pedagoģiskais mantojums.

The aim of I. Strautiņa ’ s doctoral thesis „ Brethren parishes as the pedagogical legacy of religious and social movement in Vidzeme in the 18 th century” is to explore the pedagogical legacy of the brethren parish (in German - Brüder g emeine ) and to reveal its importance in the development of education, upbringing and pedagogical thought in Latvia. In order to achieve the aim the following objectives are put forward: to analyse the prehistory of the formation of the movement of brethren parish in Vidzeme; to explore the contribution of brethren parish in teacher preparation, upbringing, education and pedagogical thought in the European context; to analyse the pedagogical aspects of the literary legacy of the brethren parish and to reveal the imp ortance of the pedagogical activities of the brethren parish in promoting the self - esteem of the Latvian people. The study has been carried out in the history of pedagogy by analysing the pedagogical legacy of the brethren parish: the interaction between e ducation and upbringing, analysing the theories on upbringing and teaching as well as emphasizing the personality development theories and factors influencing them; ideas regarding teaching, upbringing and personality development as well as the implementat ion of these ideas in practice. The study is based on the analysis of sources and literature and hermeneutic interpretation of historical sources. Key words : brethren parish, pietism, pedagogy, religion, pedagogical legacy.
