Džeza kultūras izpausmes telpiskajā vidē

Abstract

Diplomdarbā “Džeza kultūras izpausmes telpiskajā vidē”, analizējot pieejamo literatūru, tiek pētīts jēdziens džezs, tam raksturīgās iezīmes, vēsture un džeza mūzikas telpa. Empīriskajā daļā tiek pētīti džeza telpu interjeri Ņujorkā, Jaunorleānā, Čikāgā, Johanesburgā, Parīzē, Madridē, Kopenhāgenā un Rīgā, kā arī tiek intervēts bijušā kabarē/bāra ‘Artelis Gandrīz teātris’ īpašnieks. Radošajā daļā tiek izstrādāts interjera dizaina projekts džeza kafejnīcai. Darbs sastāv no četrām nodaļām: pirmajā nodaļā tiek aplūkots jēdziens džezs, ieskats džeza vēsturē, otrajā nodaļā tiek pētīta telpa, kurā tika atskaņota džeza mūzika, raksturīgās iezīmēs telpas izveidē džeza laikmetā, skatuves veidi un apdares materiāli skaņas uzlabošanai telpā. Trešajā nodaļā tiek analizēti vienpadsmit džeza kafejnīcu interjeri, ceturtajā nodaļā izstrādāts projekta apraksts, rasējumi un vizualizācijas. Diplomdarba apjoms, neskaitot pielikumus, ir 78 lappuses. Darbā iekļauti 55 attēli, 3 pielikumi un 18 rasējumi.

Diploma thesis is “The Manifestation of Jazz Culture in spatial environment” it explores the origin of the term jazz, its characteristics, history and spatial environment where was played jazz music. The empirical part of this work the author analyzed public interiors of Jazz cafe and restaurants in New York, New Orleans, Chicago, Johanesburg, Paris, Madrid, Copenhagen and Riga and includes one interview with cabare/bar ‘Artelis. Gandriz teatris’ owner. The creative part consists of an interior project for Jazz cafe. Diploma consists of four parts: the first chapter is exploring term jazz, its history and characteristics; the second chapter contains jazz spatial environment, interior characteristics, stage types and surface materials that improve the sound in space; the third chapter analysis of eleven public Jazz cafe interiors as based on the findings of theoretical part; the fourth chapter is functional public jazz cafe project with draughts and vizualizations. Diploma volume, except supplement – 78 pages. The work includes 55 images, 3 supplement and 18 drawings.
