Abstract

Arvien straujāk pieaug tīmekļa lietotņu tehnoloģiju dažādība un to attīstība. Viena no pēdējām mūsdienu tehnoloģijām ir progresīvās tīmekļa lietotnes, kuru būtība ir spēja strādāt bezsaistē. Tāpat kā citas tīmekļa lietotnes, arī progresīvās tīmekļa lietotnes visbiežāk tiek izstrādātas programmēšanas valodā JavaScript un tām ir sarežģīta funkcionalitāte. Izstrādājot lietotnes, izmantojot JavaScript programmēšanas valodu, lietotņu izstrādātāji dēļ sarežģītās lietotnes funkcionalitātes mēdz rakstīt grūti uztveramu, uzturamu un modificējamu kodu. One of the latest trend in modern technologies are the progressive web applications which, in essence, enables working offline. Just like other web applications, progressive web applications are most commonly developed in the JavaScript language and they have complex functionality. Developing apps using JavaScript programming language, application developers tend to write complex and hard to understand, modifiable code. In order to address complex problems, functional programming is being used in the work.
