Kurzemes vēsturi izzinošanas dabas takas izveide Valgalciemā

Abstract

Gadu laikā tūrisms kļūst arvien populārāks, pieejamāks un iecienītāks visā pasaulē. Tūrisms ir nozare, ar kuras palīdzību ir iespējams uzlabot ekonomisko situāciju gan novada, reģiona, gan valstiskā līmenī. Latvijā šī nozare veic sociālekonomisku funkciju, tāpēc ir svarīgi to paplašināt un attīstīt. Maģistra darba “Kurzemes vēsturi izzinošanas dabas takas izveide Valgalciemā” mērķis ir nodrošināt lauku tūrisma piedāvājuma paplašināšanu Rojas novadā. Darba pirmajā daļā tiek apkopoti un analizēti tūrisma objekti Kurzemes reģionā, kā arī veikta Kurzemes iedzīvotāju aptauja, lai noskaidrotu to viedokli par reģionā piedāvātajām atpūtas iespējām. Aptaujas rezultātā tika noteikta konkrētā problēma - kurzemnieku nepietiekama identificēšanās ar savu reģionu. Problēmas risināšanai darba autore otrajā daļā izvirzīja trīs alternatīvas, ar kuru palīdzību ir iespējams veicināt kurzmenieku piederības sajūtu savam reģionam. Nodaļas noslēgumā tika izvēlēta piemērotākā alternatīva. Maģistra darba trešajā daļā tiek izstrādāta izvēlētās alternatīvas projekta rokasgrāmata.

Over the years, tourism has become more popular and accessible all over the world. It is an industry that provides the possibility to improve the economic situation at a municipal and regional, as well as national level. Tourism performs a socioeconomic function in Latvia, therefore it is necessary to broaden and develop the industry. The objective of the master’s thesis “Creation of a Nature Trail Providing Information on the History of Kurzeme in Valgalciems” is to expand the offer of rural tourism in the Roja Municipality. The first part of the paper includes information on the tourist attractions of the Kurzeme region and the analysis thereof, as well as a survey, the aim of which was to find out the opinion of residents of the Kurzeme region on the recreation possibilities offered within the region. As a result of the survey, a specific problem was identified – residents of the Kurzeme region do not identify themselves with the region enough. In order to solve the problem, the author of the paper has brought forward three alternatives in the second part of the paper, with which it is possible to bolster the sense of belonging to the Kurzeme region among its residents. The third part of the paper draws up a manual for the project of the chosen alternative.
