Jauniešu bezdarba problēmas un to risināšanas iespēja Latvijā.

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēmas “Jauniešu bezdarba problēmas un to risināšanas iespējas Latvijā“ aktualitāti nosaka tas, ka jauniešu (15-24 gadi) bezdarba līmenis Latvijā pēc piedzīvotās ekonomiskās krīzes saglabājas augstā līmenī, gandrīz divas reizes pārsniedzot kopējo (15-74 gadi) bezdarba rādītāju. Darba mērķis ir pamatojoties uz zinātniskās literatūras analīzi novērtēt jauniešu bezdarba izplatību un ar to saistītās problēmas Latvijā, atklāt būtiskākos jauniešu bezdarbu ietekmējošos faktorus, izvērtēt tā samazināšanas iespējas, izmantojot dažādus nodarbinātības politikas instrumentus, kā arī izpētes rezultātā rast priekšlikumus nodarbinātības politikas instrumentu pilnveidošanai un efektivitātes paaugstināšanai. Darbam ir gan teorētiska, gan praktiska nozīme, jo darba gaitā radušies secinājumi un priekšlikumi var tikt izmantoti NVA darbības pilnveidošanai un jauniešu garantijas programmas efektivitātes paaugstināšanai.

The topic of the present master thesis is “Youth unemployment problems and their possible solutions in Latvia”, the actuality is justified by the fact that the the youth (15-24 years) unemployment rate in Latvia after the economic crisis remained high, almost double as total (15-74 years) unemployment rate. Aim of the master thesis is based on the analysis of scientific literature to evaluate youth unemployment spread and the associated problems in Latvia, discover the most important youth unemployment influencing factors, to assess the possibilities to reduce youth unemployment, through various employment policy instruments, as well as a result of research to find proposals to improve and increase the efficiency of employment policy instruments. Thesis has both theoretical and practical importance, the resulting conclusions and recommendations can be used for the SEA to improve and to increase the efficiency of youth guarantee program.
