Latvijas loma starptautiskajā vīna industrijā.

Abstract

Starptautiskā vīna industrija ir ļoti komplicēta nozare, kas atšķiras no jebkura cita sektora, un ir uzrādījusi lielas izmaiņas pēdējo 20 gadu laikā. Latvijas attīstība, neatkarības atgūšana, ieiešana Eiropas Savienībā dažādu faktoru ietekmē ir mainījusi Latvijas lomu starptautiskajā vīna tirgū, kas ir līdz šim neizpētīts jautājums. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir identificēt galvenās tendences starptautiskajā vīna tirgū, pētīt vīna re-eksportētāju lomu starptautiskajā sadales kanālā un identificēt Latvijas pozīcijas tajā, pētot to attīstību laika gaitā un salīdzinot ar globālajām tendencēm. Bakalaura darba ietvaros tiks apskatīta pieejamā literatūra par pasaules vīna industriju un tās tendencēm, analizēti statistiskie dati, kā arī pieaicināti eksperti ar lielu profesionālo pieredzi starptautiskajā vīna industrijā no dažādām valstīm.

The international wine industry is a highly complicated sector. Because of the particularities of the product it is distinct from any other industry and, moreover, it has undergone great changes in the last two decades. The development of Latvia, thus its regain of independence and its entry in the EU complemented by numerous factors has influenced its role in the international wine trade. The aim of the study of the bachelor thesis, therefore, is to identify the main trends in the international wine industry and research the role of re-exporters with a particular focus on the activity of Latvia in the global wine trade over time. The available literature about the world’s wine industry will be overviewed, statistical data will be analysed and multinational experts with an important background in the international wine industry will be interviewed.
