Mēmeles upes posma „Lietuvas robeža - Jaunsaule” vides kvalitāte un tās uzlabošanas iespējas Latvijas teritorijā

Abstract

Maģistra darba nosaukums ir Mēmeles upes posma „Lietuvas robeža - Jaunsaule” vides kvalitāte un tās uzlabošanas iespējas Latvijas teritorijā. Pētījuma mērķis: veikt vides stāvokļa novērtējumu Mēmeles upes posmā “ Lietuvas robeža – Jaunsaule”, noteikt tā ietekmējošos faktorus un stāvokļa uzlabošanas iespējas Latvijas teritorijā. Teorētiskajā daļā, izmantojot dažādus literatūras avotus, apkopota informācija par šādām tēmām: ūdeņu kvalitātes vērtēšana, upju ūdens ķīmiskais sastāvs, ūdeņu pārvaldība un izmantošana Latvijā, virszemes ūdensobjektu aizsargjoslas un buferzonas, ūdens piesārņojuma veidi, ūdensteču kvalitāte un tās uzlabošanas iespējas. Pētījumu daļā, lai noskaidrotu ietekmi uz upi sezonāli analizēti valsts monitoringa LVĢMC datubāzes dati par Mēmeles upes hidroķīmisko stāvokli. Iegūtie dati salīdzināti ar normatīvajos aktos noteiktajām prasībām prioritārajiem zivju ūdeņiem. Darbā analizēti arī autora iegūtie laboratorijas analīžu rezultāti par ķīmisko vielu koncentrācijām Mēmeles un tajā ietekošo novadgrāvju ūdeņos lauka darbu veikšanas laikā. Izveidotas pētītā Mēmeles upes posma kartes, kurās attēlotas paraugu ņemšanas vietas un zemes lietojuma veidi 300 metru aizsargjoslā. Aplūkota zemes lietojumu veidu ietekme uz Mēmeles upi, kā arī analizēta zemes lietojuma veidu ietekme u upes posmu. Aizaugums ar ūdensaugiem izmantots, lai novērtētu antropogēnās darbības radīto slodzi uz upes posmu.

The title of the master thesis is Environmental quality of River Mēmele stretch "Lithuania border – Jaunsaule" and possibilities for its quality improvement in the territory of Latvia ". The aim of the thesis is to carry out an environmental assessment of the River Mēmele stretch between Lithuanian border and Jaunsaule village, including identification of factors that cause river pollution and finding out solutions for the improvement. The theoretical part devoted to literature review that covered several topics: the methodology of water quality assessment, the characteristic of priority fish waters and risk water bodies in Latvia, the chemical composition of natural waters, the role of riparian buffer zones for over-ground water bodies, types of water pollution, and the quality improvement of watercourses. In the study part the data of seasonal analyses from environmental monitoring realized by LEGMC was used for the hydrochemical assessment of River Mēmele. The obtained results were compared with requirements specified in the regulations for the priority fish waters. In addition, results of analyses for the inflowing draining ditches waters obtained during field studies were used for evaluation. Maps showing locations of sampling sites, and land use in the 300 m of the riverprotected belt were made and used for the evaluation of land use impact to water quality. The coverage by aquatic plants of the studied river stretch was used for assessment of anthropogenic pressure.
