Satiksmes intensitātes palielināšanās, kas, nemainot infrastruktūru, rada sastrēgumus, palielina pārvadājumu izmaksu celšanos un piegādes termiņus, uzskatāma par vienu no aktuālākajām problēmām pēdējo gadu laikā pilsētās un to apkaimju teritorijās. Darba ietvaros izstrādāti noslogotāko Rīgas centra krustojumu matemātiskie modeļi, to kalibrēšana veikta, izmantojot aktuālos transporta plūsmu novērojumus un luksoforu regulācijas režīmus (saskaņā ar Rīgas Domes Satiksmes departamenta datiem). Modelēšanas ceļā, izmantojot specializētu programmu VISSIM, analizēti transporta plūsmu režīmi dažādas noslodzes situācijās, piedāvāti plūsmu organizācijas uzlabojumi, lai mazinātu sastrēgumus. The increase of traffic intensity which, together with underdevelopment of city’s infrastructure, causes congestion. It increases transportation costs, cargo and passenger delivery times and is one of the most important issues in cities and their neighbourhoods. Therefore, this master's thesis contains mathematical models for intersections of the busiest streets in Riga's centre. Their calibration is carried out by using the current traffic observations and traffic light regulation regimes (in accordance with the Riga City Council's Traffic Department data). The programme VISSIM is used for different traffic flow scenario analysis. The author is offering several traffic organisation improvements to reduce the congestion on the streets in Riga's centre.
