Darba un prakses apliecinājumu tulkošana vācu un latviešu valodu pārī un tajos iekļautās kodētās valodas atveide latviešu valodā.

Abstract

Vācijas likumdošanā pastāv aizliegums rakstīt negatīvas atsauksmes, tāpēc darba devēji lieto „kodēto valodu” informācijas nodošanai cits citam. Maģistra darba autore uzskata, ka Latvijas sabiedrība ir jāizglīto par rekomendācijas vēstulēs iekļautajiem slepenajiem formulējumiem un ar tiem saistīto tulkošanas problemātiku. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt darba un prakses apliecinājumu lietojumu un nepieciešamību vācvalodīgajos uzņēmumos Latvijā, apzināt iespējamās tulkošanas grūtības un tulkotāju sagatavotību apliecinājumu tulkošanā latviešu un vācu valodu pārī. Galvenie uzdevumi ir iepazīties ar teoriju par rakstiskajām atsauksmēm, atlasīt tulkošanas metodes, intervēt organizāciju pārstāvjus un tulkotājus, kā arī veikt testa tulkojumu. Darba gaitā tika secināts, ka tulkojot visnoderīgākās metodes būtu: adaptācija, teksta reducēšana/ekspansija, kā arī paralēlo tekstu izmantošana.

In the German law, it is not allowed to write negative references, therefore employers use “language codes” to inform each other. The author of this master thesis considers that the Latvian society needs to be educated about the secret formulations in recommendation letters and about the problems related to the translation process. The aim of this research is to examine the use and necessity of the reference letters in German, Swiss and Austrian institutions in Latvia and the competence of translators for the translation in German and Latvian language pair, as well as to identify the possible translation difficulties. Main tasks are to get acquainted with the theory about reference letters, to select translation methods, to interview translators and representatives of organisations, and to perform a test translation. It was concluded that the most suitable translation methods would be: adaptation, reduction/expansion and the use of parallel texts.
