Interneta aptiekas ir ieguvušas plašu izplatību pasaulē, jo mūsdienās patērētājs vēlas iepirkties ērti un izdevīgi. Tādējādi rodas nepieciešamība meklēt jaunus instrumentus komunikācijas veidošanai, tai skaitā, reklāmas kā komunikācijas veida radīšanas gaitā. Farmācijas tirgus apstākļos reklāma ir obligāts nosacījums preču realizēšanai un svarīgs instruments konkurences cīņā. Sakarā ar nepārtrauktām izmaiņām farmācijas industrijas jomā, ir nepieciešamas jaunas ārstniecības līdzekļu virzīšanas metodes. Praktiskā darba rezultātā tika noteikti respondentu galvenie interneta aptiekas iepirkšanas iemesli, reklāmas informācijas ieguves avoti, visbiežāk pirktās preces interneta aptiekā reklāmas ietekmes rezultātā, kā arī respondentu informētība par bezrecepšu un recepšu zāļu iegādi interneta aptiekā Latvijā. Tika atklātas statistiski ticamas atšķirības starp vecumu grupām un reklāmas tipu, kas ietekmē respondentus iepirkties interneta aptiekā. Online pharmacies became popular all over the world due to the fact that the consumer prefers to have a convenient and cheap way to shop. Therefore, it makes it necessary to search for new tools during the advertising process. Taking into account the pharmaceutical market conditions, advertising is a necessary requirement for trade implementation as well as an important tool for gaining competitive advantage. Due to the constant changes in pharmaceutical industry, new promotional methods for medical products are necessary. The practical results of this work revealed the main reasons of respondents’ purchases at online pharmacies, advertising sources of information, the most frequently purchased goods at online pharmacy due to advertisement impacts as well as respondents’ awareness of non-prescription and prescription drug purchase at online pharmacy in Latvia. Statistically significant differences between age groups and types of advertising that impact the respondents to buy at online pharmacies were revealed.
