Seksuālo minoritāšu attēlojums jaunākajā latviešu prozā (2001-2015)

Abstract

Lai arī PSRS sabrukums veicināja seksualitātes pārnesi no tabuizētās perifērijas uz publisko diskursu, joprojām sabiedrības apziņā dzīvo PSRS varas konstruētie mīti, kuri turpina determinēt Latvijas varas instanču un sabiedrības konservatīvo attieksmi pret aktuāliem un nozīmīgiem 21. gadsimta problēmjautājumiem, tostarp seksuālo minoritāšu problemātiku. Darba mērķis: atklāt seksuālo minoritāšu tematisko struktūru jaunākajā latviešu prozā. Darba uzdevumi: apzināt teorētisko literatūru par zilo teoriju un gender studijām; balstoties zilo teorijā, pētīt „nenormatīvās” seksualitātes atveides modeli jaunākajā latviešu prozā; apkopot raksturīgākās poētiskās stratēģijas, ar kuru palīdzību tiek konstruēta un atklāta „netradicionāla” seksuālā orientācija. Kaut gan jaunākajā latviešu prozā ir atrodami darbi, kuros autori ir pievērsušies seksuālo minoritāšu problemātikai gan dominējošās heteroseksualitātes kontekstā, gan arī korelācijā ar varu un sabiedrību, var secināt, ka seksuālo minoritāšu reprezentācija galvenokārt balstās uz vispārzināmu klišeju un stereotipu paradigmas.

Although collapse of the USSR contributed to sexuality’s transfer from periphery to public discourse, still in the consciousness of society exist USSR constructed myths which continue to determine conservative treatment of the Latvian authorities and the society towards 21st century topical and relevant issues, including problems of sexual minorities. The aim of MA paper: discover thematic structure of sexual minorities in the latest Latvian prose. Main tasks: to study theoretical literature on queer theory and gender studies; on the bases of queer theory, research pattern of portrayal of „non-normative” sexuality in the latest Latvian prose; summerize poetic strategies by which are constructed and revealed „non-tradition” sexual orientation. Even though that in the latest Lavian prose there can be found works which both deal and bring awareness to problematic aspects of sexual minorities in the context of dominant heterosexuality, as well as illuminating correlation with power and society, it must be concluded that the representation of sexual minorities is mainly based on the paradigm of common clichés and stereotypes.
