Kultūrspecifisku kulinārijas terminu tulkošana

Abstract

Maģistra darba nosaukums ir ‘Kultūrspecifisku kulinārijas terminu tulkošana’. Šajā darbā tiek apskatītas kultūrspecifiska jēdziena definīcijas, klasifikācija, kā arī tulkotāja loma kā vidutājam starp dažādām kultūrām. Darba praktiskajā daļā ir veikta kultūrspecifisku kulinārijas terminu kontrastīvā analīze, lai noteiktu piemērotāko tulkošanas stratēģiju kulinārijas terminu atveidei mērķvalodā.The title of the present thesis is ‘Interpretation of Culture-Specific Culinary Terms’. In the theoretical part of the paper the term culture-specific item has been identified and classified. Furthermore, theory regarding domestication vs. foreignization and local level strategies has been discussed. In the practical part of the present thesis local level strategies of the speech under study have been discussed.
