The work hypothesis was whether manipulating the subjective perception of time or showing a misleading time representation would reduce the intensity of the pain. The first experimental group scores are M = 5,15, SD = 1,24, these figures are higher than second experimental group’s ratings M = 4,18, SD = 1,19, the work hypothesis was confirmed. The total study included 58 participants, 35 men, age M = 22,40, SD = 2,49 and 23 women, age M = 24,52, SD = 4,11. Was conducted a double-blind study design with 2 experimental groups, first experimental group (n = 28) and second experimental group (n = 30). The author created an internet site where participants saw the clock and evaluated the pain intensity. The obtained data allowed to conclude that the hypothesis of study confirmed. Manipulating with a subjective perception of the time or showing a misleading time representation will reduce the intensity of the pain. The experimental group was given incomplete information on the current time, referring to a study conducted by Pomereras (Pomeras et al., 2011), people who were given incomplete information about the time of the clock which made ¾ revelation, it seemed that time would go faster.
