Slēpņošanas pieejas izmantošana ģeogrāfijas stundās

Abstract

Darba mērķis ir raksturot slēpņošanas pieejas izmantošanu ģeogrāfijas stundās Latvijas ģeogrāfijas tematos (ģeogrāfiskais stāvoklis, iedzīvotāji, teritoriālais izvietojums, klimats, augājs un dabas aizsardzība). Skolēniem, aktīvi darbojoties un meklējot slēpņus, paralēli bija iespēja apgūt dažādus tematus par Latvijas ģeogrāfiju, tādā veidā sasaistot interesanto ar lietderīgo. Izstrādātajā pētījumā pierādījās tas, ka, veicot uzdevumus, kuri tika iesaistīti aktivitātē, palielinājās kopējais skolēnu zināšanu līmenis. Uzdevumi tika izveidoti, pamatojoties uz Valsts izglītības un satura centra izstrādāto standartu un mācību programmu. Pētījumā tika apkopots vairāku ģeogrāfijas pedagogu viedoklis par slēpņošanu kā pieeju mācību stundas modelēšanā. Pētījums tika aprobēts 9. klasē. Pētījumā tika izmantotas aptaujas, testi un pedagoģiskais novērojums.

The aim of the research paper is to describe the use of geocaching approach in geography lessons in the subjects of Latvian geography (geographical location, population, territorial location, climate, ground cover and nature protection). Students had the opportunity to learn various topics about geography of Latvia by working actively and searching for caches, thus linking the exciting with the useful. The performed study indicated that the total level of pupil’s knowledge increased as a result of performing the tasks which were involved in the particular activity. Tasks were created based on the standards and curriculum provided by the National Education and Content Center. The study summarized various opinions about geocaching as an approach of lesson modelling (opinions were collected from several geography teachers representing a number of general education schools). The study was approbated in the 9 th grade. Surveys, tests and pedagogical observations were used as methods of investigation.
