Abstract
Dotais pētījums apskata palīgteikumu lietojumu ceļojumu emuāros, kuru aktualitāti nosaka digitālo mediju popularitāte un viegli pieejami ceļojumi. Paraugi pētījumam tika ievākti no ceļojumu emuāriem un analizēti saskaņā ar apskatīto teoriju par palīgteikumiem. Teorētiskais pārskats definē trīs izteiktus palīgteikumu veidus. Pētījuma rezultāti norāda, ka analizētajos tekstos visbiežāk izmantotais palīgteikuma tips ir laika un nosacījuma apstākļa palīgteikums, jo, izmantojot tos, autori apraksta savu ceļojumu apstākļus. Īpaši rūpīgi tiek aprakstīti laiks un alternatīvas. Pētījums arī vērš uzmanību uz to, ka dažādas palīgteikumu lietojuma tendences ceļojumu emuāros
The given study examines the use of subordinate clauses in travel blogs, the topicality of which is determined by the popularity of digital media and easily accessible travel. Samples for the research were collected from travel blogs and analyzed according to assembled theory on clauses. The theoretical review defines three distinct types of subordinate clauses. The results show that the most frequently used type in the analyzed texts is the adverbial clause of time and condition due to that fact that, by employing them, writers describe the circumstances of their travel experience. In particular they refer to time and alternatives. Additionally, the research indicates that other differing tendencies in subordinate clause use in travel blogs may correlate with the individual style of the author or the topic rather than other factors, such as the length of the article.
