The objective of the thesis “Use of exercises and games in the prevention of phonetic – phonematic disorders of front lingual consonants in the senior preschool children” is to theoretically and practically find out possibilities to use exercises and games for the prevention of phonetic – phonematic disorders of front lingual consonants. To achieve the objective: •conclusions of different authors about the speech therapist’s corrective developing actions to prevent phonetic – phonematic disorders of front lingual consonants are analysed; •exercises and games are characterised as practical means of correction; •trial pedagogical activity is carried out in the group of senior preschool children. Theoretical part of thesis reflects on the development of the phonematic system and identifies prevalence of sound pronunciation and phonematic perception impairment in the preschool age. Pedagogically-psychological characterization of the prescool children in the light of the problem is presented, practical methods for the corrective developing action of the speech are selected and analysed. Empirical part of thesis reflects on use of exercises and games for the prevention of phonetic – phonematic disorders of front lingual consonants in the senior preschool children. Speech therapy research of children is carried out. As the result of this children are divided in subgroups. Corrective developing action plan for each subgroup is set up and carried out. While setting up the plan and selecting exercises and games, individual development features and phonematic disorders of each child are taken into account. Analysis of the research results shows that phonematic perception indicators and sound pronunciation has improved. Put forward hypothesis - pronunciation of front lingual consonants will be improved if speach therapist checks and recognizes individual development features of children with lingual consonants’ pronunciation disorders, uses exercises and games in the sound correction taking into account specific requirements of a child – was proved during the research. Thesis has the following structure: volume of thesis – 85, 14 tables, 4 pictures, 9 annexes, conclusions 97 used literature and information sources.
