Latvijas fotogrāfijas diskurss 20. gadsimta 20. - 30. gadu specializētajā presē

Abstract

Izstrādātā bakalaura darba nosaukums ir “Latvijas fotogrāfijas diskurss 20. gadsimta 20. - 30. gadu specializētajā presē”. Darba pētnieciskā problēma ir izpētīt līdz šim neizpētīto fotogrāfijas specializēto preses izdevumu rakstus un aktualitāti starpkaru periodā, kā arī izpētīt rakstu tematiku un fotogrāfijas attīstību. Darba mērķis ir, balstoties uz specializētajiem preses izdevumiem “Fotogrāfijas Mēnešraksts” (1921–1922), “Attēls” (1927–1928), “Objektīvs” (1929–1934) un “Fotolaboratorijas Ziņojumi” (1930–1934), noskaidrot fotogrāfijas presē radītos diskursus pasaules pārmaiņu laikmetā. Teorētiskais pamatojums sastāv no akadēmiskās literatūras par diskursa jēdzienu, preses diskursu, specializētās preses definīciju, Latvijas un fotogrāfijas 20. gadsimta 20.–30. gadu vispārējo vēsturisko kontekstu, kā arī aktualitātēm vispārējā un fotogrāfiskajā presē. Pētījumā izmantota satura analīze jeb kvantitatīvā un kvalitatīvā kontentanalīze, taču pamatmetode ir diskursa analīze. Darba izstrādes gaitā secināts, ka starpkaru posmā specializētajā presē izšķirami vairāki specifiski diskursi, kas ļauj spriest arī par laikmeta kontekstu. Fotogrāfijas jomas attīstība un tās problēmas tiešā veidā atspoguļojas preses izdevumos, kuru izdošanas norise cieši saistīta ar tobrīd aktuālo fotogrāfijas biedrību darbību. The title of this theses is “The discourse of photography in the specialised press in Latvia in 1920s and 30s”. The subject of the thesis is to research the articles published in the specific press outlets during the interwar period that haven’t been analyzed yet and to describe their importance, and to research the main themes of the articles along with the development of the photography. The aim of the thesis is to describe the discourses that can be found in the newspapers “Fotogrāfijas Mēnešraksts” (1921–1922), “Attēls” (1927–1928), “Objektīvs” (1929–1934) and “Fotolaboratorijas Ziņojumi” (1930–1934). The theoretical basis consists of academic literature which explains the terms “discourse”, “discourse in press”, “specialized press”, the historical context of both photography and the Latvian state at the 20s and 30s, and the relevant events and affairs at the time as well. The main methods used in this thesis are quantitative content analysis, qualitative content analysis and discourse analysis. During the research the author concluded that it is possible to distinguish several specific discourses found in the specialized press and they allow one to deduce relevant ongoings of this era. The development of photography as a field and its problems are reflected in the press outlets and the way they were issued is tightly linked with the operations carried out by the photographer unions – a significant feature at the time.
