Skolotāja vecuma loma skolēnu sasniegumos starptautiskajā skolēnu pilsoniskās izglītības pētījumā: Latvijas piemērs IEA ICCS 2016

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis ir, pamatojoties uz zinātniskās literatūras izpēti un darba autores veikto starptautiskā pilsoniskās izglītības pētījuma IEA ICCS 2016 skolotāju aptaujas datu analīzi, noskaidrot skolotāju vecuma ietekmi uz skolēnu uzrādītajiem rezultātiem pilsoniskajā izglītībā. Pētnieciskā darba rezultātā tiek sniegta atbilde uz izvirzīto pētniecisko jautājumu - kāda ir skolotāju vecuma ietekme uz Latvijas skolēnu pilsoniskās izglītības sasniegumiem? Ir vērojama statistiski nozīmīga skolotāju vecuma negatīva ietekme uz skolēnu uzrādītajiem rezultātiem pilsoniskajā izglītībā, bet ar skolēnu sasniegumiem korelējošo aptaujas jautājumu atbilžu rādītājos tā tika konstatēta tikai vienā jautājumā no četrpadsmit. Maģistra darbs sastāv no 59 lappusēm, kurās iekļauts 21 attēls, 2 tabulas, avotu un literatūras saraksts ar 57 vienībām, pielikumi. Atslēgvārdi: pilsoniskā kompetence, pilsoniskā izglītība, izglītības kvalitāte.

The aim of the Master Thesis is, based on scientific literature research and the international civic educational research IEA ICCS 2016 data analysis made by the author of the Paper, to find out the age of the teacher influence to the students’ achievements in civic education. The result of the research work is the answer to the proposed research - what is the influence of the teachers’ age to Latvian learners in civic education? There is a statistically significant negative impact of teachers' age on the results presented by pupils in civic education, but in responses to correlating questionnaires of students, this was found in only one of fourteen questions.As a negative tendency is observed that older teachers are less interested in critical and autonomous thinking skills development, uncertainty in emigration and immigration issues and rarely used discussion method when speaking about themes that are close to learners. The Master Thesis consists of 59 pages where 21 are pictures, 2 tables, bibliography with 57 units and supplements. The keywords: civic competence, civic education, quality of education
