Theme of the bachelor thesis is “Preschoolers’ contact with adults as a prerequisite for communicative skills”. Aim of the thesis is to determine the effect of different games on the progress of the development of children's communication skills in the eldest age group of a preschool educational institution. Pedagogues and physiologists have scientifically proven that the child develops while playing and operating with objects. The more possibilities for the child's activities will be created, the better the coherence of his sensory perception and psycho-physiological development will flow. Also important is development of communication skills, since at the pre-school age every child not only develops physically, but also develops his mental capabilities or psychic processes as well as improves communication skills between different groups of people. Thesis consists of two parts – theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part are examined the opinions of pedagogues and psychologists about the concept and essence of communication, children’s communication skills and characteristics and the impact of adults on promoting these skills. The opinions of pedagogues and psychologists confirm that children acquire communication skills and abilities with adults and peers at the pre-school age, also they learn communication norms and benchmarks. And children express these skills directly through playing games. In the practical part is analyzed how the child's communication skills with adults and peers are formed. In this thesis the answer which games most effectively improves the communicative skills of a child is found, also are examined the effects of various games on the communication skills of pre-school children. The thesis explores and through research (hypothesis) confirms that communicative skills of a child can be developed through the use of play sessions, and how parents and educators can contribute to the development of child's communication skills. Thesis consists of 2 chapters, conclusions, proposals, list of sources of literature and sources of information (38 units). Workload - 65 pages, including 8 annexes, 2 figures and 13 tables. Key words: communication, language, preschool educational institution, preschoolers, educators, parents, VAK, play activities.
