Bakalaura darba tēma ir "Sociālais medijs "Instagram" kā informācijas avots interneta portālu Delfi.lv un Tvnet.lv Izklaides sadaļās" un darba mērķis ir izpētīt un noskaidrot sociālā medija Instagram kā izklaides žurnālistikas informācijas avota pielietojumu un raksturīgākās tendences interneta ziņu portālos Delfi.lv un Tvnet.lv. Darbam izvirzīts pētnieciskais jautājums - vai sociālais medijs Instagram ir būtisks kā informācijas avots interneta ziņu portālu Delfi.lv un Tvnet.lv Izklaides sadaļās? Kā arī apakšjautājumi par to, lai noskaidrotu Instagram satura izmantošanas daudzumu un biežumu portālu Delfi.lv un Tvnet.lv Izklaides sadaļās. Teorijā apkopota literatūra par ziņu un interneta žurnālistiku, sociālajiem medijiem un avotu uzticamību. Pētījumā izmantota kvalitatīvā un kvantitatīvā kontentanalīze un daļēji strukturētās intervijas. Bakalaura darba ietvaros tika noskaidrots, ka Delfi.lv un Tvnet.lv Izklaides sadaļas savos rakstos bieži paļaujas uz Instagram publicēto saturu, kurš nodrošina žurnālistiem vērtīgu informāciju ziņu materiāliem.

The topic of the bachelor thesis is "Social media "Instagram" as an information source in news websites Delfi.lv and Tvnet.lv Entertainment sections" and the main goal of the work is to research usage of the social media Instagram as an entertainmet journalism information source and most common trends in internet news media sites Delfi.lv and Tvnet.lv. The research question – is social media Instagram essential as an information source in internet news media Delfi.lv and Tvnet.lv entertainment sections? As well as subquestions about quantity and frequency of the Instagram content usage in Delfi.lv and Tvnet.lv entertainment sections. The theoretical part presents literature on news and internet journalism, social media and source credibility. Qualitative and quantitative content analysis and semi-structured interviews are used for research. Main conclusion states that Delfi.lv and Tvnet.lv entertainment sections in their articles often rely on the content published on Instagram, social media providing journalists with valuable information to be republished on their news sites platforms.
