Abstract
Šajā diplomdarbā aplūkotas dziesmu izmantošanas iespējas 2. klases skolēnu angļu valodas vārdu krājuma attīstīšanai, un darba mērķis ir pētīt dziesmu izmantošanu 2. klases skolēnu angļu valodas vārdu krājuma attīstīšanā. Pirmajā pētījuma daļā tiek aplūkota bērnu vispārējā un valodas attīstība 8 gadu vecumā. Bez tam, pētījuma darbs pēta angļu valodas standartus pamatskolā, vārdu krājuma metodoloģiju un dziesmas kā līdzekli vārdu krājuma attīstīšanai. Otrā pētījuma daļa aplūko dziesmu izmantoša-nas efektivitāti angļu valodas vārdu krājuma attīstīšanai. Lai sasniegtu pētījuma mērķi, kā metode tika izmantota gadījuma pētījums. Darbā tika izman-totas šādas datu vākšanas metodes: intervija, tests, aptaujas anketas skolēniem un skolotājiem.
The Diploma Paper deals with the use of songs in developing students’ English language vocabulary in Form 2. The aim of the Diploma Paper is to explore the use of songs in developing students’ English language vocabulary in Form 2. The first part of research explores the general and language development of children of 8 years old. Besides, the research examines the standards of English in primary school, vocabulary methodology and songs as a tool for vocabulary teaching. The second part of the research examines the effectiveness of songs in developing students’ English language vocabulary. To accomplish the aim of the research, the case study has been applied. The data have been collected by interview, questionnaire for the teachers, tests, questionnaire for the learners.
