The aim of the Master's Thesis “Teachers’ Stress and Changes in Related Indicators in the Resilience Intervention Group” evaluate stress conditions in the workplace, psychological defense mechanisms, analyze the resilience resources, and to identify changes after the teachers’ work in intervention group. The topicality of the research is based on the need to take preventive measures to improve mental health, to solve stress and burnout problems in the educational environment. In Latvia, as well as in other European countries, teachers have recognized their job as a profession with a high level of stress. The theoretical part analyzed different authors' professional stress theory and ways of overcoming stress, function ofpsychological defense mechanisms in positive psychology, concepts of resilience, before and after the intervention analyzed and summarized the content units of the resilience resources, as well as the stress factors in the work environment. An intervention program was implemented in the empirical part of the study. There were ten lessons conducted, as well as stress indicators were studied before and after the intervention. Six teachers participated in the study. The study used A. Evers, M. Frese & K. L. Cooper (Evers, Frese & Cooper, 2000) "Occupational Stress Indicator". After participation in the positive intervention program, the following indicators of resilience were raised: social support, self-esteem, ability to cognitively asses and analyze situations increased. The following categories were identified as the main stress factors: the work organization and relationship with others. Indicator analysis shows no statistically significant differences before and after the intervention stress survey.
