In the bachelor thesis, has been performed the assessment of the physiologically equivalent temperature (PET) index values, as well as the evaluation of human well-being in Riga. Also the PET index values and their impact on the people well-being has been described after the analysis of the literature, as well as the obtained survey data in different weather conditions. This study is topical because the ongoing climate change is causing many regions to be affected by weather conditions that are characterized by deviations from the long-term average climatic conditions, which can undoubtedly have an impact not just on peoples well-being but also pose a risk to their health. The aim of this study is to evaluate the influence of weather on human well-being according to the value of PET index and its influencing parameters. Keywords: physiologically equivalent temperature (PET) index, human well-being, air temperature, wind speed, relative humidity, RayMan software.
