Atgriešanās process Latvijā pēc ārzemēs pavadītas bērnības

Abstract

Es aplūkoju specifisku jaunu cilvēku grupa (18-30 gadi), kas kā bērni devušies uz ārzemēm ar vecāku/iem, bet atgriezušies kā pilngadīgas personas. Pētījuma mērķis: Izpētīt atgriešanās procesu un kā tiek veidotas translokālās attiecības ar cilvēkiem un vietām. Noskaidrot, kā tiek pozicionēta piederības un/vai nepiederības sajūta vietai vai valstij. Pētījuma rezultāti parāda, ka tiek veidotas translokālas attiecības ar cilvēkiem, vietām, taču tās ir aktīvas vai pasīvas atkarībā no indivīda atrašanās vietas. Migrācijas iespaidā, pārņemot vairāku valstu sabiedrības uzvedības modeļus, veidojas transnacionāla identitāte.

The bachelor thesis “The process of returning to Latvia following a childhood abroad” aims to examine young people (18-30) who went abroad with their parent/s but returned to Latvia as adults. The goal of the thesis: Research the process of returning and the formation of translocal relationships with people and places. Find out the positioning of the feeling of belonging and unbelonging to a place or country. The results show that translocal relationships are created between people and places, however, they are active or passive depending on where the individual is located. The influence of migration by adapting to behaviour models of various countries creates transnational identity.
