Abstract

Maģistra darba „Studējošo jauniešu grāmatu izvēles faktori” pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, kādi faktori un cik lielā mērā ietekmē studējošo jauniešu drukāto grāmatu izvēli gan iegādājoties, gan aizņemoties tās. Pētījums tiek balstīts uz filozofijas teoriju – fenomenoloģiju un Švarca vērtību modeli. Fenomenoloģija kā filozofijas virziens skaidro, cilvēka apziņā esošos fenomenus, savukārt, Švarca vērtību modelis skaidro, kā veidojas cilvēka vērtību pasaule un kā tā ietekmē katru indivīdu. Izmantojot Delfu metodi un intervēšanu, pētījuma rezultātā tika noskaidrots, ka noteicošie faktori, kas ietekmē studējošo jauniešu grāmatu izvēli ir tēma, lasīšanas mērķis, lasīšanas vide, grāmatas cena un aizdevēja nosacījumi.

The aim of the Master's thesis “Young students book choice factors” is to find out what factors and how influence the choice of printed books for young students when they purchase or borrow books. The study is based on philosophy theory - Phenomenology and the Schwartz value model. Phenomenology as the theory of philosophy explains the phenomena in human consciousness, while the Schwartz value model explains how the world of human values is formed and how it affects every individual. By using the Delphi method and interviewing, the study found that the determining factors affecting the student book choice are the subject, the purpose of reading, the reading environment, the price of the book and the rules of the lender.
